The days have been dark lately. School-wise, I've just resurrected myself from the torturing side of college. To tell you with all honesty, I'm not really sure If I had resurrected myself from everything. Let's just say the state where i'm in right now, is a pre-resurrection phase.

We all have our bad days. Some are just so lucky because they could easily cope with the environment. I, on the other hand, couldn't relax and just let things pass as they should. I have been tormented by a disease I call "weirdness." Yes, a lot of times, I'm weird. Literally, emotionally , and all the other words you can associate with. I have this instance where I could not control myself - my world and the worlds around it. Understanding is what I'm craving for. Understanding on my part, and on others' parts as well. I'm weird. Weird as a table that isn't moving. Weird as a sun that is ironically rising and setting. Weird. Weird. I can't seem to understand the world, the events, and everything. My fin didn't protrude and it isn't protruding as of the moment.

BTS shots of our degree-program's ABET Awards 2012. Our inspiration was RiRi's We Found Love mtv where she was on the wall with graphics and random videos projected to her. Since the theme of this year's Abet is Geometric Anaglyph, our team used graphics downloaded from Vimeo. The whole shoot was for the opening AVP on the awards-night. All I can see was black. I felt my head turning to every direction. There was no one inside there, not even a single white dot. I was sent into another dimension that every human hates, or loves. It was another dream. The apocryphal murmurs were louder every second. I couldn't barely hear my voice. Then a flick of light slashed through my vision. The world tumbled upside-down. Suddenly, I felt sheets of clothing. I woke up with my eyes still weak to open completely.

I utterly believe that local talents are made specifically in Cebu. A testament to this is Blanc Magazine Online. This is the first online magazine in the country outside Manila. Blanc team had their launching last Thursday at Yo.U Restobar in Mango. A big and fashion-filled "Thank You" to Blanc Magazine Online Team and Matt for the invitation.

I was lucky enough to attend another blogger-meet-up of CFB. We had a chance to meet Cherie Ramos of Parade Of Dresses. At first, I was hesitant to talk to her because of her beauty that intimidated me the whole night. HAHA. Yes, I'm that easy-going friend to be with, but persons with certain uniqueness intimidate me. However, I managed to have short-talks with her and her sister.

These were the outtakes of a shoot I had with Ed Espinosa and Eugene Paradiang. The shoot was inspired by ANTM Cycle 14. Both posed like pros and looked stunning in the photos. I'm not yet over The Lovely Bones. It is one of the best films I have ever watched. Peter Jackson did justice to Alice Sebold's masterpiece.

I'm literally in love with my new template design. The template is really simple and it doesn't overlap the photos. The new page makes me want to capture more random photos and outfit posts given the much needed time.

In another note, I had a random shoot with my friends, Ed Espinoza and Eugene Paradiang. You'll really love the photos. We had ANTM Cycle 14 as an inspiration. Specifically, the shoot they had in New Zealand where the models wore black voluminous gowns and posed on the meadow with the animals. And we also did the shadow-effect. These are some BTS shots.

Merry Christmas! I know, my greeting is very informal. To all those who greeted me through a facebook message, and text message - thank you! I've been eating tons of food because of the holidays. I don't want to complain of getting fat because basically I'm already fat. Being able to sleep more than the regular hours of sleep because of school is really good. Because of the long Christmas vacation, I was able to attend a CFB-related event , the My Househusband: Ikaw Na! Press Conference.

HOW TO DECORATE A TUMBLR CAKE

Ingredients:

Chocolate Cake - 290

Kit-Kats

M&M's
Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate
Classic Toblerone
(All chocolates amount to 350 pesos only)

In my case, I ordered A junior-sized chocolate monster from Orange Brutus so that the whole process won't be hard. Any kind of cake will do, just see to it that the icing used is sticky enough for the kit-kat to hold-on.

Step 1 - Gather your all your chocolates and cut them piece-by-piece. The more, the better!

Step 2 - Cut your kit-kats into pairs horizontally. Do this carefully! And then stick a pair on the sides of the cake.

Step 3 - Put all the pieces of chocolates on top of the cake.

Step 4 - Don't forget to tie a ribbon around the cake.

I had a shoot with Franz Nazareno of Carnaby Street Online Shop. The shoot was challenging because the theme was vintage. But I, together with Franz, Maia (MUA), and April(model), had a great time. .We talked about a lot of things - from designers to upcoming shoots. Take note! Artrepreneur: Art as a Business in Social Media

The past few days have been really tough. Prelim exams and projects from subject to subject. Even though we have exams, I still love my teachers and the subject itself because most of my major exams are practicals. Who wouldn't love practicals? So, as a our prelim exam in our MassComm Seminar subject. We were tasked to organize a seminar. Our teacher gave us the freedom to choose the topic that should be connected with media and/or our degree-program. Unluckily, I was chosen to be the speaker with the topic of having art as a business in social media. Since the topic was solely concentrated to what I really love, I never resorted to giving up and not having fun.

In the seminar, I spoke about how I began the passion for film-making, blogging, and fashion design/online business. I really want to thank those who came and listened. I hope you learned something out of my non-sense talking.

A LETTER FROM LOUIS

I sometimes write when I'm bored. Not really bored. I just don't want to do anything but write out what's in my mind. This is somehow an escape, I guess, from the busy world I have everyday. My mind tells me write this, and write that - pretty complicating. I have an immense hunger for art at times. And writing is one way of feeding it. I write any kind of non-fiction short stories. Most of them, came out as ideas of stories in short film. I'm telling you, I'm a weird person. I don't write stories for production. Rather, I think of shots first, before writing a script.

I don't usually publish shorts here. This one would be the first.

Note: I'm not really good in writing, and embarrassingly in grammar (sometimes). So please be kind.

A Letter from Louis (Unfinished)

Dear Mark. It’s been two years already. I’m sorry that I was not able to reply to your messages. It’s abnormal for me to send e-mails or even send messages manually through our local post office. I’m not the message-y type of person. And you know that. Well, I guess you know a lot better than that.

How are you? Or is it really selfish of me to write to you informally? I always know that you are that kind of person who doesn’t even care for whoever that person is. All you ever cared for was someone who would love you in spite of his imperfections. That’s why I loved you.

I’m writing to you because I want you to be okay. To feel that everything is now on its place – a safe place. Junior now says Papa, and Mama. Isn’t that cute? I just want you to know that I’m very happy for you. I hope that you are happy for me, too.

They always say that sometimes all you need is a broken heart to realize that something even better is right in front of your eyes. Waiting to be found. We were there. You showed up when I was at my lowest point. You were there when every tear fell. You were there when my mother told me she had cancer. And I thank you for that.

But I just couldn’t forget the day everything fell. Gravity seemed to hate us that day. The world turned around against us. Well, I guess it was fate. For some reason, I hate to remember that day. I just want a lightning-bolt to shatter my memory – this specific memory. But it was part of God’s plan.

It was part of God’s plan to let us know that we are brothers. We were born with the same father and mother -With the same blood and with the same love. We shared a different kind of love. It was the most awful feeling in the world. Our mother and father always dreamed to have a perfect family. But mother said it was not easy. It was dreadful and violent, always. That’s why she ran away from home not knowing she was pregnant for 3 months already. You were a year old then - So innocent and so surreal.

It never crossed my mind that the person that I love so much – the person I envisioned to be the one I dreamed for – would be my brother. We would sin so much to God, if we never knew we are brothers.

Life has taught me so much. I do hope also that it taught you a lot.

Spent my Friday night with Grade 4 elementary classmates. Yes, you've read it right - Grade 4 elementary classmates. Charles, one of our classmates, took a time out from work in London because of the wedding of her sister - Chill (Who coincidentally is my sister's best-friend.). We called up everyone we know but almost all of them didn't show up. On the positive side, we had a great time doing a lot of things - playing uno stacko, and truth or dare. It's amazing that we always keep in touch even though we are miles apart.

After having a boring and disappointing day in school, one of my best-friends, Redeem, invited us to her birthday celebration at 93rd and 1st. We were the only persons inside the place. Thus, we had a really great time just by doing anything. I edited a short video as 'practice' for upcoming events in the future. I just don't want to be the photo-guy. I can't wait to make videos for CFB events.

FIRST DAY

Yesterday was our first day of second sem classes. I'm a bit disappointed. We are paying our tuition fees at the right time. Our parents are having a hard time acquiring money for our education. Teachers should be present at their first day of classes. The university should not announce that they will have classes when the loads have not yet been given to the teachers. So because of boredom, I randomly took photos of random things.

Blogging took me to places. I've met a lot of good friends along the way because of it. And for that, I would like to thank all the readers, my friends, and my CFB (Cebu Fashion Bloggers) family. ~~No, this isn't another 'goodbye-post'.~~ I've been blogging for more than year. However, it came to my unpredictable mind of not having to blog mainly about fashion and/or style starting today. ~~Well, this doesn't mean that I won't stop from publishing outfit posts or DIYs. I just want to have a more personal touch to my blog~~. Within 3 months of being MIA in the blogosphere, I have constructed and assessed myself to the person that I love so much - the one who has a vision. Particularly, someone who knows as to where this blog is going to.

There is what artists' call a creative mood (not sure). I don't call myself an artist but art really depends on my mood. I just want to be comfortable with what I'm doing, that's totally it! (speaking of being comfortable, I wore a t-shirt, a pair of jeans, and a pair of Vans slip-ons just today.)

This blog will give out things that will solely come out from the heart and mind of a nineteen year-old kid - art, fashion, film, food, people, and life.
